Server SSL Issues – 08 Dec 2021

It recently came to my attention that many of my sites are not working as expected, with images and stylesheets could not be loaded correctly and for some servers simply can not connect. From what the server records have shown, it seems that this issue has been out there since the early hours of Wednesday 08 December, 2021.

We applied a temporary fix earlier today and it seems to be not working everywhere except some very limited regions due to unpurged cache (and sadly that includes where I, the person who applied this fix, am located). I am extremely sorry for this and have located the issue that is with our hosting provider, who seems to have some issues with SSL configurations and mixed all the certs on their servers.

I am still trying to have this sorted out as soon as possible, but luckily our CDN service, which is enabled on most of the sites, can step in, with some services downgraded, to allow all most of the functions to work properly.
